From August 11th to 12th, 2023, the 13th Annual International Conference for Chinese Scholars in Industrial Engineering (CSIE) & 13th Forum for Council of Industrial Engineering and Logistic Management Department Heads (CIEDH) was held at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou). This is the largest international academic conference held by the university since its establishment, with approximately 450 participants. Directors and experts in industrial engineering from over 200 universities worldwide, along with representatives from industrial enterprises, gathered together to explore how industrial engineering can lay the foundation and lead the digital transformation.
